Heartsaver® CPR AED
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs to know how to perform CPR or to obtain a certificate for CPR to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. This course is highly recommended for daycare workers, school teachers, security personnel, summer camps, work, babysitters, as well as construction workers. This course is NOT designed for healthcare providers.
Using Heartsaver® CPR AED in schools
This course may be offered in elementary, middle, and high school settings over multiple class periods using standard student and instructor materials and a school version of the course completion card.
Do not take this Course if you are caring for patients. Please see BLS for Healthcare Providers (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers), this is the complete CPR course working with patients. American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR AED Certificate for people in or entering the medical professions or if you are a student with clinical rotations (ex: Nursing Schools, PA schools, EMT) in a healthcare facility. It is also appropriate for lay rescuers who may have a need to respond to an emergency in the workplace, and family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death.
